If you have planned a pleasant afternoon with friends and family, then you want to give them something delicious. Each country has its own traditions. In some countries, baguettes with spreads are served. Another option is a cheese and meat platter. What I usually serve to my friends is a meatball. The main reason is that they are so tasty! And also easy to make. In this article, we’ll take a closer look at how to make Meatballs and Gravy.

What is the definition of Meatballs and Gravy

The meaning of Meatballs and Gravy is:

”A small ball of ground meat mixed with ingredients including bread crumbs. The meatballs are simmered in gravy”.

Meatballs and Gravy

Everyone makes a meatball in their own way. This is often taught by your father or mother. After all, it is this way of making that you have come to like. That’s how it is with this recipe today. It’s the recipe I’ve been given since childhood. In the years since, I have tasted many different meatballs and experimented with them myself. What really makes a good meatball for me is when it’s juicy. I don’t like a dry meatball. Gravy takes care of this, among other things.

You can choose to make your own gravy. Unfortunately I didn’t do that in this recipe, but I used a bag. It makes the recipe a lot easier. Of course I believe that if you make your gravy yourself, it also benefits the taste. In the future I will devote another recipe article to this. This meatball recipe will you give you juicy meatballs with an amazing taste!

I really recommend you try this meatball recipe! Do you like this recipe leave a comment below or leave a comment on my YouTube Channel! I will appreciate that too! If you have any tips or feedback? Let me know!

Meatballs and Gravy Recipe

This snack are is easy to make. You need the follow ingredients: minced beef, ground pork, egg, dijon mustard, ketjap manis, heinz tomato ketchup, worchestershire sauce, bread crumbs, salt, pepper and kania gravy natural.

First you grab a mixing bowl and add your minced beef and ground pork. You can also use only minced beef. The next step is to add one egg, salt, pepper, dijon mustard, ketjap manis, heinz tomato ketchup, Worcestershire sauce and bread crumbs. Mix everything together. Watch the meat if it’s to soft you can add some more breadcrumbs.

It’s time to make the meatballs. I use 30 grams for each meatball. If you want larger meatballs you can add more grams. When you have formed each meatball nicely round, put a pan on the stove. I use a deep saute pan, because gravy will be added. Add the butter to the pan and let it brown. Then place the meatballs in the pan. Flip the meatballs when they are brown. Make sure that each side gets a nice brown color. When you’ve baked the meatballs for 8 minutes, it’s time to get started with your gravy.

Fill a measuring cup with 400 ml of water. Then add a packet of kania gravy natural to the water and start stirring. If you have another gravy that you always use, this is of course no problem. Check the package to see how much water you need. Add the gravy to the pan. Let the meatballs simmer for 20 minutes on medium heat. After the 20 minutes enjoy your meatballs!
