If you have an party with family or friends, you always have snacks that are served during the evening. You want snacks that your friends like, but that don’t take much time either.
Normally you have multiple snacks during an evening. This often involves cold and hot snacks. I recommend serving this snack warm, because that’s when it tastes best. It can also be served cold. In this article, we’ll take a closer look at how to make Garlic Bread Spread.

What is the definition of Garlic Bread Spread

The meaning of Garlic Bread Spread is:

”A buttery mixture that consist of garlic, fresh herbs and Parmesan Cheese. You put the mixture on a baguette as a snack”.

Garlic Bread Spread

If you have a recipe where little can go wrong, this is it. This recipe is so good because all products are fresh. You work with fresh herbs that give an incredibly good color to the baguette. If you’re having a night out with friends, this snack can really stand out. You can choose how many herbs you want to use. However if you don’t mind basil, you can always use less than I indicate. One thing I know for sure, everyone likes this! Even children!

You can store leftovers from the sauce in the fridge. The exact question for how long, I don’t know. I have not tested this myself! From my own experience, everything was eaten so quickly that I rarely had to keep it in the fridge.

You need an oven for this recipe. I really recommend you try this Garlic Bread Spread recipe! Do you like this recipe leave a comment below or leave a comment on my YouTube Channel! I will appreciate that too! If you have any tips or feedback? Let me know!

Garlic Bread Spread Recipe

This snack is so easy to make. You need the follow ingredients: garlic bulb, unsalted butter, fresh thyme, basil, parsley, Parmesan Cheese and extra virgin olive oil.

The first thing you need to do is slice the garlic bulb horizontally. Add the extra virgin olive oil over the garlic bulk. Don’t be frugal, there should be quite a lot over it. Add the garlic bulb on a baking paper. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. When the oven reaches the right temperature, put the garlic bulb in the oven for 30 minutes.

When the 30 minutes have been reached, add the garlic bulb to the mortar. Because the garlic has been in the oven, you can easily peel / squeeze it. Grind the garlic with the pestle. Then melt 50 grams of unsalted butter in a saucepan. In the meantime, pack a small container and add 1 gram of fresh thyme in it. Then cut 5 grams of fresh basil and parsley. Add this to the container in combination with the melted butter. Mix everything well. Then add this mixture to the mortar with the garlic.

Grind everything in the mortar. When you see that everything is well mixed together, cut a baguette into pieces. I always cut the baguette pieces slightly more obliquely. This looks a little bit nicer when served. When the baguette is sliced, place it on a baking tray. Add the mixture per baguette piece and grate some Parmesan cheese on top. Then bake the baguette for 8 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius. After the 8 minutes you can enjoy a great snack!
