Apple Beignets Recipe
This snack is easy to make. You need the follow ingredients: apples, puff pastry, almond paste, unsalted butter, granulated sugar, cinnamon, sunflower oil and all purpose flour.
Start with peeling and remove the core of 3 gold renet apples. Cut the apples into thick slices. Sprinkle your workbench with some flour and place 4 slices of puff pastry on your bench. Brush the puff pastry sheets with some water. Place one apple slices in the center of each puff pastry.
Mix 30 grams of almond paste, 10 grams of unsalted butter, 15 grams of granulated sugar and 5 grams of cinnamon. Place the mixture in the core of the apple. Place a slice of puff pastry on each apple. The next step is to press the puff pastry well and use a knife or mold to make the shape.
Fill your frying pan with sunflower oil. Make sure the oil is 180°C celsius. Bake the beignets for 8 minutes or until golden brown. When you have baked all your Beignets, roll them in the granulate/cinnamon mixture. The Apple Beignets are ready!
