Mini Apple Pies Recipe
This dessert recipe is easy. You need the follow ingredients: apples, cinnamon, granulated sugar, corn starch, puff pastry, egg and brown sugar.
The first thing you need to do is peel the two apples. Cut the apples first in quarter-sand en cut then small apple pieces. When you are done with both apples you add the pieces to a mixing bowl. Add in the mixing bowl 8 grams of cinnamon, 20 grams of granulated sugar and 10 grams of corn starch. Make sure that everything is well mixed together. If you think you need to add more cinnamon, you can do that!
Cut the pastry dough into strips. Add the apple mixture on the beginning of the strips and roll the dough into a small apple pie ball. In a small bowl add one egg yolk. Brush every apple pie piece with the egg yolk. When every piece is provided with a nice layer of egg yolk, you can add the brown sugar on top.
Preheat the oven on 180 degrees celcius. When the oven reaches the right temperature you add the apple pie pieces on a baking tray and in the oven for 10 minutes or until golden brown. Let the pieces cool for max 5 minutes. After the 5 minutes enjoy your dessert!
