A new year brings new resolutions. My breakfast often consists of scrambled eggs or actually a protein shake. This way I start the day with a lot of protein, otherwise I will never get my protein intake for the day. One of those new resolutions I have is to drink more juices. I mean fruit and vegetable juices to meet the intake of vitamins and other minerals. It is therefore the right time to write an article about this. In this article, we’ll take a closer look at how to make Celery Juice.

What is the definition of Celery Juice

The meaning of celery juice is:

”The juice obtained from celery is called celery juice. By mixing the celery with a slow juicer you get a green liquid juice”.

So you need celery to make celery juice. It is a celery where the leaf stems are used for eating. So you can eat the plant raw if you mix it to get the juice. It is often used in a salad, sauce or soup. If you plan to eat the celery leaf, you will have to cook it first. If you don’t cook this, it is unfortunately not edible.

This plant contains vitamins a, b, c, k sodium, calcium, magnesium, folic acid and iron. Most of the plant consists of water. This number is above 90%. Celery juice a trend?

When you search the internet for benefits of celery juice, one of the first words you see behind it is trend. It would help you get a glowing skin, lower your blood pressure and cholesterol, and a lot more. I’m not a doctor, so I cannot say whether the above statements are correct.

What I can say is that the moment you drink the juice, it is absorbed into your body faster than if your plan was to eat it. It’s common knowledge that your body can absorb liquid foods more quickly. That is why you see, for example, athletes drinking water bottles with sports drink during half time. These water bottles contain isotones, so that their body is quickly supplemented with minerals.

Making Celery Juice

To me this is one of the simplest recipes that I am going to write. You don’t need that much. What is important is that you have a slow juicer, juicer or mixer. My preference is for a slow juicer. You may not have one of these, because they can be quite pricey. If this is the case, the other two options are also possible. Just one more small addition before going through the steps. If you want to get the taste of the drink slightly sweeter after tasting, you can always add other types of fruit. Examples are green apples, strawberries or a banana. The color may change slightly due to the strawberries, but you will get some sweetness in the juice. This may make it easier for you to drink!
