Cinnamon Apple Cake Recipe
This dessert recipe is so easy. You need the follow ingredients: granulated sugar, cinnamon powder, light brown sugar, melted butter, all purpose flour baking powder, whole milk, vanilla extract, eggs and icing sugar.
The first step is to peel two apples and cut them into squares. Add 45 grams of granulated sugar and 11 grams of cinnamon powder in a mixing bowl. Mix the ingredients together. It’s now time to add your apples in the bowl. Make sure all the apple pieces have a nice sugar / cinnamon coating.
Take another mixing bowl and add 150 grams of light brown sugar, 42 grams of cinnamon powder and 120 grams of melted butter. Mix everything together. Set a side.
To make the cake mix, add 360 grams all-purpose flour, 200 grams granulated sugar, 19 grams baking powder, 300 ml whole milk, 4 ml vanilla extract, 2 large eggs and 110 grams melted butter to a mixing bowl. Mix everything together.
Add the coated apples to the cake mixture. Then add the batter to the baking pan (23 cm by 23 cm) Then add the cinnamon swirl to the batter. Use a knife to create the pattern. Preheat the oven to 160℃ celcius. Bake the cake for 40 – 45 minutes (160℃). Or longer if needed. Make sure to check if the cake is done.
For the glaze, mix 200 grams of icing sugar with 40 ml of whole milk. When the cake has finished baking, let it cool for 15 minutes. After cooling, place the icing on top. Let the cake cool for another 30 minutes. After that you can enjoy this amazing cake!
