Today a new dessert recipe. I can tell you this was one of my favorite flavors I tasted during my vacation in Italy. I can tell you that the taste of Italian ice cream is, of course, out of the ordinary. They will never tell you the exact composition. This recipe really comes close. In this article, we’ll take a closer look at how to make Lemon Ice Cream.

What is the definition of Lemon Ice Cream

The meaning of Lemon Ice Cream is:

”A dessert, that consist of three ingredients: condensed milk, whipping cream and lemon”.

Lemon Ice Cream

This is really my favorite ice cream flavor that uses fruit. The problem with this ice cream flavor is that you can taste quickly enough whether it is good or not. You should get a lemon flavor that is strong, but not overpowering.

This flavor was so delicious on my vacation in Italy. Once you’ve tasted that, you immediately start to doubt all the ice cream you’ve eaten before. I asked a few times if I could know how he had made it. The man laughed, but of course didn’t want to help me. It was a secret and I understand it well. Once you’ve made ice cream at that level, you obviously don’t want to share it. Today’s ice cream came close and I will of course share that with you!

Lemon Ice Cream Recipe

This ice cream recipe is so easy. You need the follow ingredients: fresh cream, sweetened condensed milk and lemons.

The first step is to grate the two lemons. Add the lemon zest to a tray. Next up is getting the juice of both lemons. Add the lemon juice also in another tray and put it on the side.

The next step is to grab a mixing bowl and add the 500 ml of whipping cream. Mix the whipping cream until you see that you get the soft peaks. When this happens you can stop mixing. Add the 397 grams of condensed milk. Mix the ingredients together with your mixer.

When both ingredients are mixed together you can add the lemon juice and lemon zest. Mix everything together for the last time. Make sure the lemon juice is fully incorporated. Grab a ice tray or baking mold. Add the mixture to the ice tray and cover it with a plastic wrap. Place the ice tray in the freezer for 8 hours. After 8 hours you will have the perfect lemon ice cream! Enjoy!
