Today there is a nice recipe on the menu that you can also make with children. I’m a huge fan of this dessert and find it really hard to keep my hands off it once I’ve made it. Before you know it you’ve eaten 5 and you want more. It’s so easy and so delicious! In this article, we’ll take a closer look at how to make Cream Puffs.

What is the definition of Cream Puffs

The meaning of Cream Puffs is:

”A small and round pasty that is filled with whipped cream or custard”.

This is really a great dessert. Besides looking great, anyone can make this. It can hardly go wrong. You have to make sure that you boil the dough a little bit dry. You will notice that the taste of the dough also changes. The real flower taste is gone if you eat it raw.

You can make the filling however you like. I made a filling with whipped cream, but you can also fill it with pudding. I’ve never met anyone who doesn’t like this. With a layer of powdered sugar on the top, really great!

Cream Puffs Recipe

This dessert recipe is so easy. You need the follow ingredients: milk, water, butter, all-purpose flour, eggs, fresh cream and powdered sugar.

The first step is to take a saucepan and add 100 ml of milk, 100 ml of butter and 100 ml of water. Bring the mixture to a boil. Then add 100 grams of all purpose flour to the mixture. Mix everything together and boil the batter for 2 minutes.

After 2 minutes take the saucepan of the heat. Then add 1 egg at at time (4 eggs in total). Don’t add the next egg until the other is fully incorporated. Put the batter in a piping bag and make round balls of the batter.

Preheat the oven to 210°C celcius. Bake the cream puffs for 20 minutes. Let them cool completely after baking for 20 minutes. For the whipped cream, add 60 grams of icing sugar and 500 ml of fresh cream (35% fat) to your food processor. When the whipped cream is ready, put the mixture in a piping bag. Fill the puffs with whipped cream. Finally, add powdered sugar to the cream puffs. Enjoy!
