Apple dumplings Recipe
This snack is easy to make. You need the follow ingredients: apples, puff pastry, cinnamon, granulated sugar and almond paste.
The first step is to peel and remove the core of the 6 apples. Add some flour on your workbench. Add 6 pieces of puff pastry on the bench. Brush the pieces of puff pastry with water. Place the apple in the center of the puff pastry.
Grab a small bowl and add 40 grams of granulated sugar and 6 grams of cinnamon. Mix the ingredients together with a whisk. Fill the apple halfway with the sugar-cinnamon mixture. Fill the other half with the almond paste.
Stretch the puff pastry from the center up. Make sure both ends overlap at the top. Make sure to fill any gaps by repeating the same process. Brush the dumplings with water and provide them with a layer of granulated sugar. Preheat the oven to 220°C Celsius. Bake for 20 minutes on the lower rack (220°C). Let the dumplings cool for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes they are ready to be served!
