Chocolate Gelatin Cake Recipe
This dessert recipe is so easy. You need the follow ingredients: Bastogne biscuits, butter, gelatin, milk, sour cream, sweetened condensed milk, fresh cream and cocoa powder. If your supermarket hasn’t the Bastogne biscuits you can choose other biscuits!
The first step is to grind 180 grams of Bastogne biscuits in a food processor. Add the crushed Bastogne biscuits to the mixing bowl. Melt 70 grams of butter and add this to the mixing bowl with the biscuits. Mix everything together.
Use a round baking pan and line the inside with baking paper. Press the cookies against the bottom. Soak 30 grams of gelatin in a container with 150 ml of warm milk. Add 300 grams sweetened condensed milk and 400 grams sour cream in a mixing bowl. Mix everything together.
Take another mixing bowl and add 200 ml of fresh cream (35% fat). Add the gelatin/milk mixture to the bowl containing the condensed/sour cream mixture. Then add the condensed/sour cream mixture to the bowl of fresh cream. Use a hand mixer to mix everything together.
Divide the mixture between two bowls: 500 ml each. Add 30 grams of cocoa powder to a bowl. Mix everything together with a hand mixer. In the other bowl, add 10 grams of vanilla sugar. Mix everything together with a spatula. Start adding the dark mixture, followed by the white mixture. When the batter of both colors is in the mold, take a toothpick and make the pattern. Leave to set in the fridge for five hours. After five hours, this Chocolate Gelatin Cake is ready to be served!
