										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Je kunt niet van elk gerecht houden. Ook als je in een sterrenrestaurant werkt of net als ik thuiskok bent. Er zijn enkele gerechten die je kunt maken en proeven, maar na het proeven vind je een bepaald onderdeel van het gerecht niet lekker. Ik had dit altijd gehad met dit gerecht dat ik vandaag zal beschrijven, tot een paar jaar geleden. Ik vond elk element van dit gerecht apart lekker, behalve de saus. Toch is dit gerecht erg populair als voorgerecht in een restaurant. Deze keer is het geen Kaiserschmarrn of Bruschetta. Ik heb het natuurlijk over een salade. In dit artikel gaan we dieper in op het maken van Caesar Salade.</p>
<h2><strong>Definitie Caesar Salade</strong></h2>
<p>De betekenis van caesar salade is:</p>
<p>&#8221;De Caesar Salad is een salade op basis van romeinse sla, croutons en een dressing&#8221;.</p>
<h2><b>Caesar Salade</b></h2>
<p>De naam zegt het al, het is een salade. Het verhaal gaat dat het vernoemd is naar Julius Ceasar. Hij was een Romeinse schrijver, politicus, generaal en later keizer van het Romeinse rijk. Toch is dit verhaal niet helemaal waar, al is het wel een mooi verhaal. Het gerecht is vernoemd naar Caesar Cardini. Cardini bezat een hotel en restaurant en was chef-kok Kok in Mexico. Op een gegeven moment tijdens zijn werk was het bijzonder druk. Klanten hadden een salade besteld, maar de ingrediënten voor de salade waren niet meer voorhanden. Noodgedwongen bedacht Cardini een salade die mensen lekker vonden. Ze kwamen terug om specifiek naar deze salade te vragen. In die tijd werd de salade een vast onderdeel van het menu en won hij veel aan populariteit. Deze salade is vooral populair in Amerika en Canada.</p>
<p>De originele salade zoals gemaakt door Caesar Cardini bestaat uit maximaal 8 ingrediënten:</p>
<ul>
<li>Romeinse sla</li>
<li>Croutons</li>
<li>Knoflook</li>
<li>Parmezaanse kaas</li>
<li>Eigeel</li>
<li>Worcester saus</li>
<li>Olijfolie</li>
<li>Citroensap</li>
</ul>
<p>Dat is het. Als je kipfilet of tomaten wilt toevoegen is dat een optie. De authentieke Caesarsalade bevat deze twee ingrediënten niet.</p>
<h2><strong>Caesar Salade Recept</strong></h2>
<p>Je kunt gemakkelijk een Caesarsalade maken als je alle ingrediënten hebt. Er is een optie om je eigen croutons en de saus te maken. Wil je weten hoe lees dan verder anders kun je deze eerste twee blokken overslaan en een voorsprong nemen voor de ingrediëntenlijst.</p>
<h3><strong>Hoe maak je croutons</strong></h3>
<p>De makkelijkste manier is om croutons in de supermarkt te kopen. Toch kunnen ze net zo lekker zijn als dat je ze zelf maakt. Om je eigen croutons te maken heb je de volgende ingrediënten nodig: stokbrood of brood, olijfolie, knoflook, Parmezaanse kaas. De eerste stap is om het stokbrood/brood zo te snijden dat je vierkantjes krijgt. De vierkante stukjes doe je in de kom. Vervolgens voeg je de gehakte knoflook, olijfolie en geraspte Parmezaanse kaas toe aan deze kom. Meng alles goed door elkaar. Bak een bakplaat met bakpapier. Leg de stukjes op het bakpapier. Verwarm de oven voor op 180 graden. Als de oven goed is voorverwarmd, zet je de bakplaat 10-12 minuten in de oven. Controleer na 10 minuten of de croutons zo krokant zijn als je zou willen. Wil je hem langer, geen probleem! Elke oven is anders!</p>
<h3><strong>Huisgemaakte Ceasar Saladedressing</strong></h3>
<p>Net als de croutons maak je de saus gemakkelijk zelf. Om deze saus te maken heb je een kom nodig en de volgende ingrediënten: zout, peper, olijfolie, knoflook, citroensap, worcestersaus, dijon, eigeel en geraspte parmigiano reggiano. Je mixt de ingrediënten door elkaar en afhankelijk van hoe je de saus wilt kun je ervoor kiezen om meer of minder olie te gebruiken. Na het proeven van de saus kun je deze altijd op smaak brengen met wat extra peper of zout.</p>
<h2><strong>Hoe maak je een Caesar Salade</strong></h2>
<p>Hierboven heb ik al uitgelegd hoe je de caesar salad in verschillende delen maakt. Hieronder zal ik het kort in zijn geheel beschrijven:</p>
<ol>
<li>Snijd het stokbrood in vierkanten</li>
<li>Doe de stokbroodvierkanten in een kom</li>
<li>Voeg de gehakte knoflook, olijfolie en geraspte Parmezaanse kaas, peper en zout toe aan de kom</li>
<li>Meng alles door elkaar</li>
<li>Verwarm de oven voor op 180 graden celcius</li>
<li>Neem een bakplaat met bakpapier</li>
<li>Leg de stokbroodvierkanten op het bakpapier. Geef elk vierkant voldoende ruimte</li>
<li>Bak het stokbrood 10-12 minuten of tot het goudbruin is</li>
<li>Haal de baguettes eruit en begin met de saus. Pak een kom en voeg zout, peper, olijfolie, gehakte knoflook, citroensap, Worcestershire-saus, dijon, eigeel en geraspte</li>
<li>Parmezaanse kaas toe.</li>
<li>Meng alles door elkaar.</li>
<li>Proef de saus. Eventueel kun je meer zout, peper en olijfolie toevoegen.</li>
<li>De volgende stap is het bereiden van de snijsla. Haal de wortel eraf en verwijder de knapperige middelste lagen.</li>
<li>Doe de laagjes snijsla in de kom met de saus. Meng alles door elkaar.</li>
<li>Leg op een bord de slalagen en de croutons. Je hebt een authentieke Caesarsalade voor jezelf gemaakt!</li>
</ol>
<h2><strong>Caesar Salade Ingredienten</strong></h2>
<p>Om dit fantastische voorgerecht te maken heb je een aantal ingrediënten nodig.
