Almond Chocolate Bar Recipe
This snack recipe is so easy. You need the follow ingredients: biscuits, almonds, dark Belgium chocolate, granulated sugar and unsalted butter.
The first step is to grind 300 grams of biscuits / cookies to your food processor. I used Verkade Biscuits. Add the grinded biscuits to a mixing bowl. The next step is to add 200 grams of almonds to the food processor and again start grinding. Add the almonds to the same bowl as the biscuits.
Put a saucepan on the stove and add 80 grams of unsalted butter, 100 ml of water and 80 grams of granulated sugar. Mix everything together until the butter is melted. Take the saucepan of the heat and add the butter to the mixing bowl with the biscuits and almonds. Mix everything together until you can make a big dough ball.
Melt 200 grams of Dark Chocolate (Belgium) and 20 grams of unsalted butter au-bain-marie. Divide the dough ball in half, two balls of 360 grams each. Add 40 grams of melted chocolate to one dough ball. Mix everything together.
Get your baking tin and add first the layer of dark dough and then the light dough. Cover the dough with the melted chocolate. Spread the chocolate even on the dough. Let it set in the fridge for 4 hours. After 4 hours the Almonds Chocolate Bar are ready to serve!
