This recipe is egg-less and doesn’t contain melted butter. The base will be formed by semolina and Kefir. It’s makes this cake also healthy! Semolina Cake Recipe
This dessert recipe is so easy. You need the follow ingredients: granulated sugar, semolina, Kefir, sunflower oil, baking powder, all purpose flour, cocoa powder and olive oil.
The first step is to add 125 grams of granulated sugar and 250 grams of semolina to a mixing bowl. Mix both ingredients together. You can use a whisk for this. When the semolina and the sugar are mixed together you can add the 500 ml of kefir. Mix everything again together.
Let the mixture rest for 20 minutes. After the 20 minutes add 125 ml of sunflower to the mixing bowl and mix everything together. Add 4 grams of baking powder and 125 grams of all purpose. Again mix everything together.
Grab another mixing bowl and add the half of the batter to the other mixing bowl. To the first mixing bowl you can add 20 grams of all purpose flour. The second bowl needs 20 grams of cocoa powder. Mix the ingredients. It’s time to grease the baking mold (30 cm) with olive oil and add the batter. To create the pattern you add two tablespoons at the time from one bowl. Start with the white batter followed by the brown batter. When all the batter is in the baking mold you can add the authentic pattern.
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees celcius. When the oven reaches the right temperature add the cake for 35 minutes on 180 degrees celcius. After the 35 minutes you can let the cake cool down for 10 minutes before eating it. Enjoy this amazing cake!
